Thanks to everyone who came out for our Q2 meet up on June 6th and made it such a success. We enjoyed filling the pub in Ceros HQ with marketing professionals who participated during our collaborative Q&A to networking around the room. Below you'll find the presentations from our speakers, Matt Wellschlager and Moe Bachouti.
In case you missed this fun marketing event, we've got you covered. Not only do we have the slides from each presenter but we have the video, too. Lastly, don't forget to scroll to the bottom to see if you made it into our gallery from the event as well!
The Visual Imperative - Matt Wellschlager, Ceros
Matt Wellschlager, VP of Marketing at Ceros, presented on exploring the world of visual storytelling. In order to grab people's attention we need to marry content with visuals to make it easier for readers to consume. This means going beyond pictures and getting into interactive content that makes people want to tell your story to someone else.
Pillar Content Strategy - Moe Bachouti, HubSpot
Next up we had, Moe Bachouti of HubSpot, to close out the evening with his presentation on pillar content. This new content strategy allows marketers to get their work in front of more people by grouping content into topics. Search engines have evolved and people are no longer using keywords to search. By using pillar content you're able to use SEO to your advantage and start ranking for what makes you an industry thought leader.
